Hungarian
Fruit: long slightly curved, tapers to a blunt point, yellow
turning red Scoville Heat Units 4000-7000. It is also called
the Banana chilli, makes an ideal chilli for stuffing purposes.
Jalapeno
(pronounced Hah-lah-peh-nyoh)
Fruit: cylindrical, tapering to a point, green turning red.
Scoville heat unity 4000-5000, used in condiments, salsas, soups,
stews, meat and vegetable dishes.
Cayenne
Fruit: long, slender, curved pod, tapers to a point, green turning
red. Scoville 35000-40000. Widely used chilli in Indian cookery.
Used in sauces, Indian, Indonesian, Thai, Pakistan and Hunan
dishes, also dried and powdered as a spice.
Sweet
Banana
Fruit: long sweet, matures from yellow, orange and then to crimson
red. Used for pickling, frying or fresh in salads.
Green/Red,

Large bell-shaped fruit, with sweet juicy flesh, used for salads,
processing, savoury snacks and hot dishes.
